Google street view blurs face of cow to protect its identity
google Street View perhaps approach to privacy has caused fun online after a photograph of a cow with a blurred face went viral.
The cow was photographed at Coe Fen, Cambridge, its face blurred same way Google does for humans.
A tweet featuring animal was retweeted 9,000 times.
People had fun making puns after tweet gained traction.
“Udderly ridiculous,” said one user in reply. “Google teat view,” said another.
spokesman for Google said: “We thought you were pulling udder one when we herd moos, but it’s clear that our automatic face-blurring technology has been a little overzealous.
“Of course, we don’t begrudge this cow milking its five minutes of fame.”
